FAQ

Concrete leveling questions.

How is polyurethane leveling different from mudjacking?
Mudjacking pumps a heavy slurry of mud and cement under the slab. It works but adds weight, the holes are bigger (1.5–2"), cure time is longer, and the slurry can wash out. Polyurethane foam is lighter, expands more, cures in 15 minutes, and uses penny-sized injection ports.
How long does it take?
Most residential jobs (driveway, walkway, patio) finish in 2–4 hours. You can drive on the slab within 15–30 minutes of the final injection.
Will the foam wash out?
No. Polyurethane is hydrophobic — it doesn't absorb water and isn't affected by soil moisture. Once it cures, it's a closed-cell solid.
Can you fix a cracked slab, or do I need a new one?
If the crack is from settlement (uneven support underneath), leveling usually saves the slab. If the concrete itself is failing — surface spalling, deep structural cracks — replacement is honest. The free assessment tells you which one you're dealing with.
Will my insurance cover concrete leveling?
Most homeowners policies do not cover gradual settlement. Insurance usually covers sudden events (sinkhole, plumbing leak). Worth checking your policy — bring it to the on-site assessment.
